8th Annual Rubber Duck Derby on April 25th

Rubber Ducky DerbyTarrytown comes alive in spring as the Rotary Ducks head to Patriot’s Park for the 8th Annual Rubber Duck Derby on April 25th.  This delightful event draws thousands young and old alike, to enjoy the festivities in the park.  The Rotary Club collaborates with the Tarrytown YMCA who holds their annual Healthy Kids Day.

Come enjoy music, entertainment, food, vendors, small carnival rides and many other fun events.  And of course, Adopt your rubber duck!  2,000 rubber ducks are raced in the Andres Brook, with the help of the water power from Hope Hose Fire Dept, in 6 heats.  The winner of each heat wins $100 and is raced in the Final race to win the Grand Prize of $1,500.  The Rotary costumed ducks roam the park to pose with children and families for pictures.
